Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 30 September 2026
These terms govern use of the online shop at card-giftshop.com, operated by PRESENCE CARD AND GIFT SHOP LTD, registration number 14109485, of 75 Aston Road, Shifnal, England TF11 8DU.
The shop and these terms
You can contact us at [email protected] or +441952463804. These terms cover browsing, product information, order requests, payment, UK delivery, returns and the limits of our responsibility. Separate pages explain shipping, payment, returns, service, privacy and cookies. If a confirmed order says something specific about that order, that confirmation applies to the order. It does not remove a consumer right that the law does not allow us to exclude.
Using the website
You may use the site for lawful shopping and for questions about our greeting cards and gift mugs. You must not:
- interfere with security, attempt unauthorised access, or disrupt the service;
- send false, misleading or incomplete information in a form;
- copy the site or its content for resale or another commercial use without permission;
- use automated scraping in a way that degrades the shop.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the name, email, telephone number and address you send. The basket is stored in your browser. Clearing site data can empty it.
Products and descriptions
The shop sells illustrated greeting cards and printed gift mugs. Listings describe format, card stock, writing space, mug material and capacity so you can compare them. We try to keep descriptions, prices and availability accurate.
- Photographs can be illustrative. Colour and finish may look slightly different on a screen or in another light.
- A difference in packaging does not change the product if the main characteristics stay the same.
- We may correct an obvious mistake, update a description or remove a product before an order is accepted.
- If a correction affects a request you have already sent, we explain it before asking you to continue.
Prices
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the shop, which is pounds sterling unless a particular order is confirmed otherwise in writing. Delivery within the United Kingdom is free, with no minimum order value, unless the website expressly states a different condition for a particular item.
If a tax, duty or other charge would apply, we confirm it before asking for payment. We do not add a charge after you have paid without agreeing it with you first.
Order requests
What sending the basket means
Checkout collects an order request. It is not an immediate card payment and it is not, by itself, acceptance of a contract. We review the products, quantities, availability and delivery details.
When an order is accepted
An order is accepted only when we confirm it by email or another written message. We may decline or cancel a request if an item is unavailable, a price or description contains an obvious error, payment is not completed when it is due, the request appears fraudulent, or we cannot lawfully fulfil it. If we decline before payment, you owe nothing for that request.
Payment, delivery and returns
Payment is requested only after we accept the request and send payment instructions or an invoice. Do not send a full card number by ordinary email. The Payment Policy explains the sequence in more detail.
We deliver within the United Kingdom. Delivery times on the site or in a message are estimates unless we agree a fixed date in writing. You must give a complete address and be available to receive the parcel where the carrier requires it. The Shipping Policy explains failed delivery and damaged parcels.
UK consumers may have a 14-day cooling-off right for distance contracts, and separate rights if goods are faulty. Exceptions can apply, for example to goods made to a personal specification. The Returns Policy explains how to contact us before sending anything back. Nothing in these terms removes a mandatory right.
Liability
We are not responsible for indirect loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of data, interruption of the website, failure of a third-party service, or delay caused by a courier, weather, customs or an incorrect address you supplied, except where the law does not allow that limit.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot legally be limited.
Intellectual property and changes
Text, images, layout and branding on the site belong to us or our licensors. You may view them to shop. You may not copy them for commercial reuse without permission.
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. The new version applies to later visits and later order requests. It does not rewrite an order we have already confirmed, unless the law requires a change. The latest date is shown at the top of the page.
Questions should be sent to [email protected] or raised by telephone at +441952463804. Include the order reference if you have one.
